On Sunday, the anti-narcotics cell arrested a medical store owner in the Saraswati Nagar area. According to the Yamuna Nagar police spokesperson, the medical store owner allegedly had a stock of 5,482 banned intoxicant capsules and tablets. The medical store owner was identified as Mr. Kapil Goyal, alias Babbu, who was sent to jail after being presented before a court.

Cell in-charge Mr. Rakesh Rana stated that 1,032 Proxyvon capsules and 4450 Alprazolam tablets were seized from his possession. The police arrested him after getting a tip from their sources that he was out for delivery. As per the initial probe, he has been receiving these drugs from a local supplier. Mr. Rana added that the accused owned a medical store but did not sell the capsules there.
